Friday I was in Kyoto and Nara for shopping. At night I was at the restaurant with some members of the lab (not all, but the main ones, ie those with whom I spoke were there). Well, this time around, I assured my photos, then place the presentation:
- Left, Yamato Ohtani, he will me helped in the technical part of my job. He is super nice, but it has some difficulty understanding when they speak English. Still, I appreciated his constant good humor, even when I annoyed (you know me ^_^). It was also he who saved my pc when he no longer wanted Demare.
- In the center, Yoko. I met her at the beginning of my stay. Very nice, but it is very difficult to speak English, I also believe that she was disappointed not to speak.
- Right, Doi. It is with people who surrounded me when I arrived. It has mainly been the driver. Almost no English so I could never talk to.

- Left, Mr. Toda, my sponsor. Young, eh? It made me a shock when I met him. It has been 32 years. It's nice that it is not too old, because it is much more "cool". I really had a good relationship with him, he never put pressure and has always valued my work (wrongly?).
- In the middle left, uh ... I forgot her name. He does not speak English at all!
- Right center, Kisaki. A very nice, but I always feel uncomfortable in his presence. He has a stuttering problem which I never understand his English and I have to repeat. And he looks very stuck. But it was he who organized the celebration in my honor when I got there, he also agreed to be our driver. It also tries to talk to me when he sees me, so it's a person who allows me to socialize and feel accepted, and I am very grateful for his kindness.

- left, Rafael. Nothing to say. ^ _ ^ As a reminder, this one comes from Panama. It's great because we had no difficulty communicating in English. Here at the restaurant, saw the people who do not speak English, everybody spoke Japanese so luckily he was there for me the conversation from time to time.

- Left, Chie. What to say about Chie? When I see I can not help but think "I love this girl!". She is super energetic, always smiling and is always ready to help.
- In the middle, Nakamura-san. He too was part of "Home Team". It is too funny! Obviously he loves to eat, he has completed all the dishes from the table! He was kind enough to lend me his electric stove and curtains for the 4 months of my stay. It helped me a lot, I am very grateful for that, and also because it's one of those who framed me most when I arrived. By cons after I did not see during these almost four months, and he did not specifically seemed to want to communicate with me, despite his good English.

few adventures ... Radio Silence Oui, je sais, j'avais dis que je n'écrirais plus. Non, mon rapport n'est pas fini mais je m'approche de la fin (Still happy, the deadline is Sunday!). What delayed me? 1) Sunday: I woke up around 5:35 in the mornin 'with a big buzz. I get up quickly. I have no protection against insects, except my anti-mosquito, no insecticides. I run my anti-virus, but it normally takes 4-5hrs so patience is required. Meanwhile, I am inquiring about the possibility of completing my report on the lab pc: impossible, they do not have Word 2007. I feel bad, very bad, I feel that my pc died. Settlement: Yamato-san came to my help and I suggest using a restore point. Saved! Obviously, my system had been damaged by a facility. 3) Wednesday morning: I'm really good in my bed. I tell myself that for once my night did not seem too short and that's nice. I look at the time: 10am! So I had to get up to 8. Today, 7:30 am instead of 7am. I still do not understand if I woke j'éteinds sleeping or if it does not ring. Settlement: Tuesday, 2 alarm clocks! There! Sorry for the spelling mistakes but I write it quickly. Well, probably not news for a week at least now while I finish my report and I did my presentation.
I am currently writing my full project report. I work from 7am to 23h, in my room, even on weekends. So much to say that: 1) I have nothing to tell 2) I do not have time to sort the pictures. My schedule: 31 mai: remise du rapport 3 juin: présentation orale 10 juin: départ tôt le matin pour la Belgique Il y a encore énormément de choses que je voudrais faire ici et de lieux que je voudrais visiter. Malheureusement, je ne pourrai pas tout faire. Mais je vais essayer de rentabiliser la période du 4 juin au 8 juin. Sinon, je serai quand même contente de rentrer en Belgique pour certaines choses. ^_^ Mais je ne serai pas encore tout à fait en vacances une fois rentrée: 17 juin: présentation orale en Belgique 20 juin: et enfin, proclamation et remise des diplomes ! Donc, les photos d'Avril, ça sera surement pour la fin juin, ou juillet. Otherwise, little anecdote: I met my first Mukadi! This is the stuff that I did not see during my stay. But what is a Mukadi? Finally, I met him by going to the mall, and luckily it was on the floor and not too close to me. But this meant that I leave now my screen when j'aère my room. About mosquito, I also learned something pleasing. Some mosquitoes are carriers of Japanese encephalitis, which can be fatal or serious psychological sequelae. Cool, huh? Suffice to say that in addition to the net I plug my anti-mosquito and I'm not going to do my shopping at night (this is the moment they come out). In fact, I'm in a danger zone: the campaign. The Japanese themselves are vaccinated, so the disease is fairly rare in Japan. Finally, better safe than sorry (or die? ^_^), I remain very cautious. Japan is full of other atrocities, but I will avoid making a complete list. Anyway, it makes you want to go home. I am now in radio silence until June 3 at the earliest, so no need to watch the news here before then!
Sunday, April 26 - Kyoto in good company this Sunday, I was in Kyoto meet 3 people: Joranne, which I have already mentioned a few times, and her friends Lilly and Hebi-kun (yes, that nickname, but I preserve their anonymity ^_^). Since it was a day with a Belgian weather (meaning gray skies with rain), it was originally the Museum of Manga. In fact, we were surprised because it's not really a museum, it is mostly a collection of 50,000 manga available. Of course most Japanese (snif!). But I was still surprised to find manga in French and English. We even took the opportunity to read a few. Besides we got to photograph the museum by the photographer, who asked permission to display photos on the website of the museum (one's staaaaaaaaars!). Otherwise, I really want to return to the museum one day when I have free time to read more manga. On leaving the museum, in the shop, there was only one poster. But a post for which I broke down right away: it is one of my favorite series, Honey & Clover:  Yes, well, I know, you see not what he was good, this post. But I know (and there is no discussion not!). Then, after the museum, we were eating okonomiyaki (see http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okonomiyaki ). The rest of the afternoon, it was the ... shopping! Ok, this is not very surprising. They made me discover a great neighborhood for that, it will be essential that I return. While Hebi-kun is chosen kimonos, and Joranne Lilly agreed to fill my lack of culture: we made purikura. Well, I see the puzzled look of the audience: purikura is a kind of Japanese photo booth, where we add decorations and everything you want in the photos.
